To ensure that all children served by Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) across the U.S. receive consistent, evidence-based services that help them heal from abuse, CACs and State Chapters can become Accredited by meeting the National Children’s Alliance’s National Standards of Accreditation.
NRCAC offers specialized assistance to help CACs and State Chapters successfully navigate the accreditation process. Upon request, support may include, but is not limited to:
- Reviewing policies, procedures, and supporting documentation for the accreditation application
- Observing CAC case review and offering feedback
- Meeting with CAC leadership and MDT members to prepare for site visit interviews
- Conducting mock site reviews
- Assisting with site visit preparation
